Vendors list

It is intended to gather suppliers of accessories such as objectives, eyepieces, illuminators, polarizing material, etc. and put them in this file. At the moment the few entries can be considered a seed list.

• Knight Optical is a UK supplier of optical components including filters and retarders. They ship worldwide.
• Anchor Optics is a US supplier of optical components. The stock is different from Knight optical. A division of Edmund Scientific.
• Tamar Technologies makes "EtherGlow" a substitute for Kohler. Requires registration for more than superficial information. Expensive and hard to get.
• Mightex Systems is a Canadian company making photo accessories (lights, sensors, cameras) usable with microscopes. Very informative web pages.
• Klarmann Rulings, Inc. makes reticles and stage micrometers.
• SRB-Griturn is a UK supplier of photographic accessories including adapters and filters. More geared to telescopes.
• BW Optik Langner Voss a supplier (microscopy and astronomy) based in Germany. Carries LOMO among others.
• S.M.S. OpticalMostly new scopes, but bottom of page leads to accessories and supplies. Not net friendly.
• Cynmar CorporationLarge supplier of scientific items, including scope accessories.
