Unsubscribe from Rifeforum group!
Thank you for being a member of the Rifeforum group on groups.io. We understand that people's interests change and no longer need to be informed about Rife information and you came here because you need help unsubscribing. We just want you to know that you are welcome back any time.
The Rifeforum Group
Please note that this group was setup in order to email the new posts from the Rife Forum at www.rifeforum.com for those who wish to be informed via Email. More details as to the purpose of the Rifeforum group can be found here.

Unsubscribing from the Rifeforum group will not unsubscribe you from the Rife Forum itself, so you may still receive messages from there.

Why you were suddenly receiving so many posts.
Many of the members of this group were added to the Rifeforum group from the Rife Yahoo Group due to the fact that Yahoo Groups are effectively deleting all their archives in December, 2019. The Rife Yahoo Group used to be very active in the past, but in the years 2018 and 2019 had dropped to a much lower monthly message count as most serious posters had long since moved to the much more comprehensive Rife Forum, instead.

The Rifeforum Group was setup specifically to cater for those who wanted to be informed via email of new posts on the Rife Forum. This point being is that they did not have to visit the Rife Forum website to find out what was new. Now that the Rife Forum has become so popular, that also means that the number of new daily posts has been steadily rising and that can come as a bit of a shock to someone used to the lower traffic of the Rife Yahoo Group. We have been observing a number of members leaving simply because they were being overwhelmed with new posts from the Rife Forum - something they were not used to.

What happened to the other Yahoogroups?
Knowing how important the information in the past discussions in the alternative health communities were, we were very concerned about the impending deletion of all that collective knowledge by Yahoo Groups. We therefore started a project to archive all the important groups we knew about and then looked for more that were also very important. We have now archived more than 66 health-related Yahoo Groups and provided them with an excellent Windows software so it is easy to read and search those groups for the hidden gems of those groups. Without this project, most of that knowledge would have been lost forever. We therefore invite you to visit our health-archives website and learn about and download the groups that interest you. The Rife Yahoogroup is in there along with so many others. There is a small charge for each archive dependant on the number of messages in them in the range $0.99 to max $9.99 - a small price to pay for so much stored knowledge. We suggest having a look at the video on the home page, where you will see me demonstrating what you can do with the Windows software version of Yahoo Groups - so much easier and better to use than the online original.
We invite you to a much nicer experience - on the real Rife Forum
If you are still interested in learning more about Rife, electro-therapy and alternative health topics in general, then let me invite you to join the Rife Forum, instead (if you are not already a member). You will find it a much nicer place and your inbox will NOT be flooded as YOU decide what topics interest you. The Yahoogroups and groups.io are basically like a daily newspaper with one long unsorted list of discussions and as it was so difficult to read the archives, it was always about the topic of the day.

The Rife Forum is more like a library where you have a wide range of separate categories and in each category a list of topics, like books on the shelves of a library that you and others can add their own comments to. This allows you to simply choose the categories you are interested in and then look though the list of topics to decide which ones you want to read and comment on, just like you only take the books off the shelves of a library that have an interesting title. Nobody is overloading you with the topics of the day, you decide what to read and if you then have a question or wish to make a comment - you can easily write what you want to say in the topic that interests you. If someone then replies to what you write, you may then receive an email informing you about that reply so that you can respond on the forum. You are in full control of what you read and follow.

If you are interested in the topic of the day, you can always look at the list of new posts on the forum - instead - Not in your inbox like was happening in the Rifeforum group you just left. So why not give the Rife Forum a try - there is a wide range of highly interesting and well informed posts waiting for you. You will soon discover why the Rife Forum is the largest and best online community for electro-therapy and similar topics. Reading past discussions is easy and everything is well sorted. You can browse at will reading the topics that interest you and ignore the rest. You can read, learn and research at will and take part if you want to. We are proud of our friendly and helpful community that informs you about so many topics you will never learn about in the mass-media. We are proud of the fact that we respect free speech and do not censor topics that are controversial to the status quo. Your privacy is better protected as other members do not see your email address and your posts are only seen by other members (with a few exceptions that are marked). We have our own internal personal message system for member to member communication and our own chat-box as well. You will love the Rife Forum that is just a much more inviting place than any Yahoogroup could ever be. We look forward to seeing you there.
Where can I find other related websites?
We have setup a special website with a directory of Rife and alternative health related websites. There you will not only find links, but descriptions and reviews of each website. Have a look here: https://www.rifeshop.com

We also suggest having a look at www.rife.de as well, for historical information and a look at scientific research from a European perspective where alternative health is valued much more than in America.

Thanks again for being a member of the Rifeforum group and I hope the information on this page was helpful and will inspire you to continue learning more and we hope to see you on the Rife Forum, soon. You will find instructions on how to unsubscribe below. If after that, you still want us to do the unsubscribing on your behalf, you can order that at the bottom of the page for $10. In return, we will not only unsubscribe you, you will also receive a digital download of the group as a memory of your time with us for use on Windows.

How to Unsubscribe from the Rifeforum Group on groups.io
There are three ways of doing this. If the first method fails for any reason, try the second one. If you really want the moderator to unsubscribe you - this service will cost you $10 and that includes a digital download of the Rifeforum archives for use on a Windows computer immediately after payment. That way, you will have a lasting copy of the discussions for you to look at whenever you want to. The money you pay is used to cover our costs and to compensate us for the time and effort needed to unsubscribe you (which is much more complicated than when you do it for yourself). The moderator will then usually unsubscribe you within 48 hours, typically on the same day without any further questions (unless we cannot identify your account and need to ask).
Change the Subscription
If your aim is simply to reduce the number of Emails you are receiving, there is no need to unsubscribe. You can adjust your subscription as follows:

Click here to edit your subscription
If you are not logged in, or do not have the password, use the "Email me a link to log in" button
An Email will be sent to you, click on link in Email to be logged in
Now you can change your subscription:
You will receive each message in an individual email.
Group up to 12 messages together as one email instead of being sent individually (rich formatting).
Group up to 12 messages together as one email instead of being sent individually (plain formatting).
A daily summary, delivered in the morning, of the group's messages from the previous day.
You will only receive special notices from the moderators.

We suggest:
  • Full Featured Digest if you want to read all the messages in one daily email
  • Daily Summary if you just want to see the titles that you can click on to read online
  • Special Notices Only if you want to switch off all the messages apart from rare moderator announcments.

With all these settings, you have full access to the messages online and can respond online, too. By making these changes, there is no need to unsubscribe and your inbox will no longer be overwhelmed with messages.
The Email method
This is generally the simplest and quickest method - you just have to send two emails - that's all.

  1. Send any email, it can be empty as nobody reads it, to rifeforum+unsubscribe@groups.io making sure the sending email address is the one that you are subscribed with. For example, if you receive emails from the Rifeforum group at myname@mymail.com then you need to send the email from that email account - otherwise your request will be rejected as the system will not find you in the subscribers list. That is the most common reason for this method to fail.
  2. Once the system receives your request and finds your subscription in the database, you will be sent an email asking you to confirm you want to leave by replying to it.
  3. Now all you have to do is click on Reply and Send in your email program.
  4. That is it, you have now unsubscribed from the Rifeforum group at groups.io - note, this will not change your account on The Rife Forum, if you have one.
  5. If you receive Emails from the Rife Forum directly, you will find an individual unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email.
The Online method
This method requires you to login to your account on the groups.io website and then unsubscribe there. This method is also easy to do.

  1. Click on the Unsubscribe link found at the bottom of each message.

  2. If you are not automatically logged in, for example if you have not logged in before, you probably do not have a password - don't worry, you do not need one.
    1. Click on the button: Email me a link to log in. You will be asked for your email address. Enter the one you used with the group and click on the green button.
    2. An email is sent to your email account with a login link. Click on that link within two hours and you will be logged into your account on groups.io.
    3. You are shown a page where you have three options: "Yes" will unsubscribe you, "No" will cancel the unsubscription and "Special Notices Only" (recommended) will stop all emails except for special announcements from the moderator (rare). This third option will stop the emails, but you will still be able to login online and read the messages there. Please note however that it makes more sense to read the messages on The Rife Forum instead

  3. If you are already logged in, click on the Subscription button on the top left.
    1. Then click on the red Unsubscribe button at the bottom of the page.
    2. You are shown a popup window with 4 options:
      1. Switch to Daily Summary = You will receive just one email a day, informing you which topics were discussed the previous day
      2. Switch to Special Notices Only = This stops all emails except on the rare occasions the moderator has a special announcement to make (recommended)
      3. Cancel = You have changed your mind and do not want to cancel your subscription
      4. Unsubscribe = This will unsubscribe you from the group.
The Please Unsubscribe Me method
If you do not want to use any of the above methods, you can ask the modorator to unsubscribe you, instead. As this creates extra work for the moderator that could otherwise be spent helping members and answering legitimate enquiries, we charge $10 for this service which also includes a digital download of the Rifeforum Yahoogroup archives that you can view on any windows computer.

  1. Click on the green _Add_ button below to start this process, pay the $10 (PayPal or Credit Card) and make sure you tell us which email address you have used with the forum.

  2. Once the payment is complete, you will receive an email with a link so that you can download the archive files within 10 days.

  3. The moderator will usually then unsubscribe you without further questions within 48 hours on weekdays (but typically the same day).
