If you have any interest in health, or any health concerns, welcome to the holistic-health group. This group provides its members with a place for an in-depth and full dimensioned discussion of all aspects of health. We hope that our asking for and sharing information with fellow members will help us to learn about other opinions and discover better medical alternatives. We want more information to make better informed decisions about health care matters. As group members we enjoy a wider access to other people's personal experience, education, and understanding of the various risks, options, and treatment outcomes. We intend to be an additional source of information, rather than provide any substitute for consultation with your personal professional health care provider.
We especially invite discussion of the holistic aspects of health, including the preventive aspects, alternative practices, non-medicinal, and energy-based systems for healing. We also welcome questions and answers about Homeopathy, Tissue remedies, Bach Flower Remedies, Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Spiritual Healing etc.
We respect modern medicine, the modern diagnostic procedures, and the surgical intervention and reconstruction that may prolong many of our lives. However, in some situations there may be an alternative treatment that avoids the side-effects of modern medical procedures and drugs. Psychosomatic complaints are often better treated using non-invasive procedures like Acupuncture, Acupressure, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Tissue Remedies, Bach Flower Remedies, REIKI etc.
